Your Mobile Library service – bringing Libraries to you!
We have four Mobile Library vans currently serving the Scottish Borders.
Two vans cover the whole Borders area serving the rural communities on a 2 weekly basis. For detailed timetables click on the links on the right of this page. Can't find what you're looking for onboard? You can request books online using our Click and Collect! service and pick them up from your regular stop, as well as the Morebattle shop or The Ancrum Pantry. This is a great alternative to allow you to browse the full catalogue in the comfort of your own home, just select Live Borders Mobile Libraries as the pick-up location when you order online.
One van visits rural primary schools on a 4 weekly basis.
Our fourth van is providing a temporary service for Peebles (Gytes) and Eddleston (primary school) during the refurbishment project at the Chambers Institute. For more details on this click this link: Peebles Library information. For book reservations on the Peebles van, please select "Peebles Gytes/Eddleston" as your pick up location.

During the Peebles library closure the Mobile Libraries will be providing regular stops at The Gytes Leisure Centre and Eddleston Primary School, in addition to this you can also use the regular Mobile Van service around the Tweeddale area. For detail on this, click on the link below.
