'Lost Valley' is the story of a valley and a town that are certainly not lost. Lost Valley Ranch is a far-reaching land empire founded by James Hyland, advanced by his son Angus Hyland, and inherited in the third generation by Douglas Hyland. Sheriff Evan Hatfield is a fair-minded man who wants to maintain the peace. This intention is challenged with the arrival of a homesteader who was issued a claim along Arapaho Creek by the Land Office in Denver. Texas Jim Collins in 'Iron Marshal' is a legend in his own time, a legend that was twenty-five years in the making. John Setter, the most powerful and wealthy rancher in Anza County, New Mexico, thinks Collins has gotten too old for his job as marshal, and that he should retire. What brings the matter to a crisis is the arrival of a stranger, dressed in black.
