The anthology includes writing completed during the prizewinners' residential creative writing course.the Scottish and Rusian entries were judged by the writers Gerry Cambridge and Keith Gray and David Robinson, Literary Editor of the Scotsman. the winners attended a residential creative writing course at Moniack Mhor, the Arvon Foundation Writers' centre near Inverness in May 2005.
