When British pilot John Martin is involved in a dog-fight off the Scottish coast in his Hurricane aircraft, he sends his German opponent plunging to oblivion into the sea - but only at the cost of his own plane, which is fatally damaged. Sea winds carry his parachute inland, over rugged cliffs and coastline and finally over a former castle. Barely clearing the edge of the battlements, he lands jarringly on the roof. Unfortunately what appears to be a country home is actually the headquarters of a band of Nazi agents.
