1934. Talented 18-year-old dancer Bonny Burton joins the chorus at Southampton's Palace of Varieties, where she comes to the attention of gifted choreographer Rob Andrews. The pair become fast friends, and when they are spotted by a talent scout, they are contracted to appear in the West End.
